About

Who is The Bookette?

The Bookette is me, Becky! I am a UK school librarian who is passionate about children's and YA fiction. The Bookette is my personal blog.

The past
Since August 2009, I have been reviewing all the YA and children's fiction that I read and the occasional adult title and here on my blog.

The future
2012 sees a new era for The Bookette. I will not be accepting any review copies from new publishing or author contacts. Please do not email and ask me to do so. It will only end in disappointment. I do not have the time to reply to the many emails I receive with these requests. I will not be participating in any future blog tours. The books that I will be highlighting here will be a mixture of the books that I have bought, borrowed from the library and/ or have been sent to me as part of an existing relationship with a publicist.

Do you have a Guest Reviewer?
Yes, Irena of This Miss Loves to Read is has kindly been reviewing books for this blog in 2011. Her reviews are excellent and I am proud and thankful to have her assistance. Find out more about Irena by reading this post.
