Giveaway: The Shadowing Hunted

So the lovely people at Egmont sent me a proof copy of this book to review:

Have you ever seen a scarier cover?

I am trying to hide my eyes whilst typing. Just looking at the screen freaks me out.

So as I would not read this book ever because it would undoubtedly give me nightmares, Egmont say I can give it to one of my brave and fearless readers.

To Enter:

Leave me a comment telling me your worst fear /nightmare and I'll choose the scariest one as the winner of the book. Please include either your Twitter @name or your email address so I can notify the winner.

International peeps are welcome to enter.

Closing date: Sunday 3rd April, midnight GMT

And now in the spirit of sharing here are five things that scare me:

  1. The dark
  2. Sweetcorn (that stuff is so wrong)
  3. Tarot cards (if there is another side, I don't want people fiddling with it)
  4. My garage door...
  5. Upsetting my postie

Winner announced HERE

My biggest fears are spiders and needles. I can deal with anything else except them. Ive always been afraid of spiders, even when I was little, my Dad doesn't help this fear as he takes every opportunity he can to scare me. *rolls eyes*
Needles really scare me, i'm 30 years old and i cant go to the doctors without my mum or dad with me when i get my flu vaccination.
Regarding books and movies, so far nothing has scared me but im still trying to find the one that does :D

My biggest fear is wolves. When I was younger, I used to have horrible dreams about wolves coming to eat me! Even though there are no wolves where I live : )

My biggest 'real life' fear is fire. Seeing burnt bodies in films and such really freaks me out (as does the cover of this book, but I'd hide that if I was reading it lol). In not such real life, I watched a film not so long ago about a couple where the girl was being haunted by a demon. They put talc on the floor at night and in the morning they could see large talcy 3 toed footprints leading into the bedroom. That totally freaked me and made me jump awake at every creak of the house at night. Now I wear earplugs to sleep so I don't hear any demons creeping up on me whilst I sleep. Sad, but true lol.

My biggest fear is being buried alive. Unfortunately, I think about it before going to bed, sometimes. The grave scene in Kill Bill made me cringe as did the storyline in Eastenders. I remember how the Victorians used to have those bells just in case they were still alive in the grave.

I also have a fear of heights.

I used to have nightmares of riding in a car and driving off a bridge. I think it's strange that since I no longer ride in a car with the person driving in my dream, that I no longer have the dream!

My scariest fear is slipping in the shower, and whacking my head off the taps and nobody finding me...
