The UK YA Book Blog List

Hello everyone,

All day I have been updating links on The Bookette.

I have created a new page for the UK YA Book Blog List. The current link list in my sidebar is going to be deleted. There are so many new UK blogs popping up that I felt it was about time that the list had its own page.

If you haven't posted for a couple of months, I haven't added your blog in the new list. I am trying to keep it up to date.

Everyone else please check out the new page. I am asking bloggers to write a line for me about what they review. Hopefully this will help point authors, publicists and fellow bloggers in the right direction if they are looking for someone to review something specific.

You can email your line to: thebookette @ googlemail.com
You can tweet it to me: @the_bookette
You can leave it in the comments but make sure I know which blog you belong to and I would say no more than 50 words. Just a brief outline of what you like to review.

If you are not on the list and want to be, get in touch via email or twitter (details above). Or conversely, if you are on the list and don't want to be, then get in touch and I'll take you off.

Happy blogging!

Becky

Thanks for putting this list together Becky and for including my blog on it. I'll email you my line to add. I'm sure it will be very helpful for many people, I know that there are a few names I am unfamiliar with. I'll be off to look at them now! :)

Wow so today I have found three new blogs that I didn't know about. This was definitely worth the many hours it has taken.

I'm so glad you all like this idea.

I will keep updating as and when I get more tweets, emails and comments.

Great idea :) Thanks for adding mine, here's the line for you:

Cem's Book Hideout - passionate for paranormal titles with a focus on the YA genre. Some reviews for non-paranormal YA titles as well.

Hi Becky, thanks for including me (Mountains of Instead). After some thought, could you put next to my link:

Championing YA fiction as an escape from recessions, politicians and bad TV, The Mountains of Instead reviews a range of titles from the YA canon with no particular genre preference as well as offering news, commentary and general tomfoolery from the YA world.

Hey!
I was going to forget to send you a description again :)

It is a great initiative and the best way to know each other better!

My line could be:
I'm a French girl living in London and spending all my spare time reading from various and diverse genres such as Young Adult, Fantasy, Dystopia, Translated Books, LGBT Fiction and books with strong female characters. I happen to like pink and tea a lot too. :)
