There is something about Saturdays that compell me to compile these bits and pieces posts. I don't know why but I just have to do it.
Song Quest Update 2
So the Song Quest tour is moving swiftly along and on Thursday it stopped off at The Book Bug.
Chloe wrote the most laugh out loud review. You will not get to read a more hilarious review as part of this tour so please go and read it. (The link is here). I love that her review was so honest and not influenced by the fact that I am a great fan of Chloe and her blog. This is what makes Chloe an awesome reviewer. She has so much integrity.
There were so many quotes that I could have chosen to share with you. But after much re-reading and deliberation, I've decided to go for this one:
'Frenn was only one of the characters that seemed to want me to spare my eyes. He was well-developed, likeable, despite being a little love crazy at times.' © Chloe, The Book Bug, 2010
I guess you want to know what happened to Chloe's eyes... so go and read her review!
Chloe, thanks so much for being a part of this.
Song Quest Contest
Please email all entries to me by midnight GMT Sunday 9th. I'm giving you an extra day because I won't have the chance to upload them on to my blog tomorrow. It is my little bro's birthday and he is going to be 18! I have the fun job of collecting him and his girlfriend from a party tonight. I'm going to go armed with a bucket.
Lauren Kate UK Tour
I am very excited because Lauren Kate author of Fallen is going to be touring the UK in October. If you don't know how much I love angels, I guess you can't have been following me for very long. I go crazy for angels. It is one of my many obsessions. Anyway, no details as yet but I will keep you posted.
The next book Torment is released in the UK on September 30th. Another one of my most anticipated books of the year. I just can't get the final scene of Fallen out of my head. I don't want to give you any spoilers but seriously the ending was phonomenal.
I was interviewed...
Charlotte of The Book on the Hill interviewed me as part of her book bloggers around the world feature. Charlotte had some great questions and I loved answering them. Hop on over to her blog to find out my favourite London haunt. Here is the link.
And, in other news
My copy of Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles finally arrived. I feel like I have been waiting forever for it. Now I have it I am afraid to read it. I'm worried it won't be as good as Perfect Chemistry...
I'm reading The Dead and the Gone by Susan Pfeffer instead.
Can anyone give me the courage to start Rules?
