When I Was Joe Contest

How could I meet the wonderful and extremely talented Keren David without getting a book signed to give away on my blog?

Actually I got two books signed to give away!

In case you are a new follower or have been a bit sleepy since January, this is what When I Was Joe is all about.

Summary from Amazon.co.uk:
When Ty witnesses a stabbing, his own life is in danger from the criminals he s named, and he and his mum have to go into police protection. Ty has a new name, a new look and a cool new image life as Joe is good, especially when he gets talent spotted as a potential athletics star, special training from an attractive local celebrity and a lot of female attention. But his mum can t cope with her new life, and the gangsters will stop at nothing to flush them from hiding. Joe s cracking under extreme pressure, and then he meets a girl with dark secrets of her own. This wonderfully gripping and intelligent novel depicts Ty/Joe's confused sense of identity in a moving and funny story that teenage boys and girls will identify with - a remarkable debut from a great new writing talent.

If that hasn't got you desperate to enter, then check out my review.

Here are the actual books.

To enter the contest:
Complete the below form.
You do not have to be a follower of The Bookette to enter. I want to spread my love of this book as far and wide as possible. Any tweets, links, posts about this contest are very much appreciated.

Open internationally!

If for some bizarre reason the form doesn't work, you can email me your entry with the following info:
  • First name
  • Surname
  • Email address (if under 16, please provide parent or guardian's email)
  • State if you are under 16

Closing date: Friday 26th March 2010 midnight GMT
Good luck everyone!
